The Differences Between Growth Marketer and Growth Product Manager
Notion's product team is relatively new. There have been some internal debates about whether or not we needed that team. Notion really wants to build valuable experiences, not experiences that just trigger people into engaging because you've flashed something up in front of their faces. I think there was a concern that if we brought on a dedicated growth product team too early could devolve into moving a metric for a metric sake.
