Are We Going to Bring Back Imperial Measurements?
An announcement over the week end from downing street that they will launch a consultation into bringing back imperial measurements. It was part of a series of patriotic announcements scheduled to be briefed to the daily telegraph ahead of the jubilee. And it does beg the question of how this government, with a, you know, 80 odd, i think it's a bit low in our seat majority, why it's failing so much to pass significant legislation and change the nature of the country.
