The Evolution of Venture Debt
The math equation between customer acquisition and long term value of the customer is basically the answer. So why have lenders typically not lent to companies that look like that because they don't have traditional assets? For us, again, not pure play venture debt, who else is in this situation with capital standpoint matters. But for us, yeah, the primary asset beyond the IP is the quality of the revenue and the customer pieces.
