You Can't Have Both.

i think it's important that people understand why they believe in ghosts when they don't, in fact, exist. One of the reasons is because humans are very intolerant of ambiguity and uncertainty. The other reason is that the world is not cool enough as it is to be enchanted by things like big foots or aliens. And i think those two things together are a more parsimonious explanation than ghosts actually existing.
