Most of my experiences as a teacher have been wonderful, I wish I could capture them all. The particular lesson at the British Council that I taught on Thursday last week, 15 years later, was good. There was laughter, yes, which I do think is important. Laughter really breaks the ice and makes everyone feel a bit better. My skills as a stand-up comedian are very useful. It will help you climb up and help you claw forward in terms of your confidence. If you've been a student of mine, hopefully, what you're thinking now is like, Luke, what are you talking about?"
This is the longest episode of LEP so far, and it's a solo ramble. I talk freely about a lovely day I had in Paris earlier this year, which really stuck in my memory. Relax, follow my words, hang out with me for 3 hours, get stranded on a desert island of the imagination, and then get rescued. Includes a haircut, a sleep and a t-shirt change during the episode.
