What Is the Work of the Spirit in Our Lives?

In chapter five of the New Testament, Paul writes a letter to christians. In verse 16 he says walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. This is one of the clearest passages in the book that sums up what paul's trying to tell us about our lives. We can't grow fruit but we can hinder its growth if we don't play our role as gardener.
