Plasma for Resuscitation of Burn Patients

Many places will use albumin as a rescue strategy. If patients are getting up to about two times what their predicted fluid rate would be by our resuscitation formula, they'll add albumin in. Some centers also will sort of do like mini boluses of albumin. There's still a fair amount of variation in there, but I think what is more consistent now is that the majority of centers are gonna use colloid for patients who are on very high volumes of crystalloid during acute resuscitation period.
