The Importance of Environment in World Building

I would agree with you Alex that the interaction between environment and humans is really important. I think in a more hostile environment where resources are much more scanty I imagine that a culture would be inclined to one or two extremes. That's kind of like a point at which you have to have some understanding of this is where it kind of like sprouts from in your world building. At least for me I kind of feel like I need to have an understanding of that interaction between people and where they are and where they can. And where they came from where they are too.
