Synology Disk Station
I've been looking at other NAS options for media serving and I got a Qnap TV SH474 as a plex server. Most of you who are sharing my plex library with me have been moved over to using that instead of the Synology. It's transcoding from the full 4k down to 720p as I'm downloading it to my iPad because that's what I do for for travel so not it's twice as fast so that's great but the Synology does it because it's got that transcoding engine it can Transcode on the fly transcode of 4k movie down to 720 just fine sort of like after I set it up I did this test
