Mengele's Butchery

Mengele was not considered unhinged or disconnected from the work of the broader German medical establishment. Rather than being a mad scientist conducting horror at Auschwitz like some sort of demented musician, he was as we've said a mid-level piece of an engine of scientific quackery that needed body parts and lots of them to further research into heredity. Some of the more lurid experiments that he's accused of undertaking either didn't happen or just weren't as crazy as they sound mind you all of this is bad science.
