The Mistrial of a Murderer
Ryan Brooks was found guilty of first degree murder in the deaths of Larry Jr. and his brother-in-law, Brian Brooks. The jury deliberated for just over an hour before returning with a verdict that could lead to life behind bars. He says he never threatened Bonnie but may have described men she had affairs with as 'garbage people' His lawyer argued against bail saying there would be "hysteria and paranoia" if he were released on bond. A mistrial has happened before so Ryan thinks he can get away with it this time.
