Social media is like a smoky crusty casino serving you cheap gin mixed with flat pepsy just desperate for you to empty your brain savings into their sweaty sausage hands i'm so pissed. physiological research from australia shows that when you expose your brain to a bright screen within one hour of bedtime you don't produce as much melatonin that is the sleep hormone which helps you get a deep rem induced sleep. When you look at a bright screens within an hour of bed time guess what happens you don't go that far down the rabbit holes then you wake up with even lower resilience lower happiness. There's a physical problem with social media we don't talk about this enough
