Trump and Cleveland's Presidency
Cleveland is the first Democrat to be elected president since James Buchanan in 1856 and there's not another one until Woodrow Wilson in 1912 so he is surrounded by Republican presidents. The story of Cleveland's presidency especially his second term but this is present during his first term too is largely about him fighting this rear guard action amongst his fellow Democrats particularly in Congress. William Jennings Bryan who's the nominee three of the next four elections after Cleveland leaves office as that is growing in the Democratic party.
