The Universe Is Change
One of the first rules of epictetus is that you cannot control ad what other do. The only thing you can actually control is your reaction to it. And i think that is probably one of the essences of this book, is that whatever happens, your mind is in control of your reaction. So he says, like, the universe is change. Its like a big principle of what hes tolt to us are. One example is he says not to live as you had endless years ahead of you,. death overshadows you while you are alive and able be good.
