The Importance of Making Statements

The idea behind speech act is, you know, I do think you did a great job describing it. We are writing code in a text that will one day run and make something happen. And so if code is a speech act, if our code has effects in the world, if there's this latent performativity that once we ship it is going to happen only after the code is already shipped,. We have to think about this context of social justice beforehand. How do we make this Code legitimate in the social world that we live in? What would even look like an answer beyond documentation and testing? Like what would that mean for us as programmers? It's hard to say but not very complicated
