Is There a Change in Japanese Management Styles?

In Japan people do not like change very much. There used to be a much more strong reliance on older people or basically listening more to older members that's still the case in many companies, but it is not as strong as when I first came. Many Japanese companies hire graduates. That's what they usually do and still do. And the number 30% of these graduates leave the company within the first three years now. So it actually forces companies to become more attractive to react more to people's wishes. In the long run they will have to be a little bit more adaptive to personal ideas of their employees. Before that it was always the company first and people have to adapt.
