The Importance of Accepting Pain

Suffering occurs when we don't accept the pain that we're already experiencing. The practice of mindfulness allows you to accept what you're currently feeling so that all your feeling is pain and you're not feeling that suffering on top of the pain. This acceptance is kind of the root of anxiety, depression and honestly a lot of other and maybe most mental illnesses.
