She got her first piece of art printed or one of her first pieces of art printed in a local newspaper when she was 14. According to that article, also she used the $40 to invest in AT&T stock, though she thought she was buying IBM stock. She still has no idea how much it's worth. I personally think that more people should be disappointed by Yale as an institution. So I'm on board with this.
