The secrecy movement is basically about being able to shift your money in any way that you want to without anyone either telling you what to do with it or restricting what you do with it. I personally don't see that happening outside of authoritarian regimes. If we lapse into authoritarianism, not only for the United States, but for other countries around the world, then you can bet free speech is going to be limited.
