Democritus, the Greek Philosopher, Was a Philosopher
In the era of the Greeks, there was a very famous guy who goes by the name of Democritus. He came up with the idea that matter is made of these small, incompressible, indestructible, just little like balls. This would imply that everything, including the gods, were made of the same thing that everything else is made of instead of. Well, I don't know if that was a direct implication. Did they think that? But they're not everything. They made the universe.
