The Fossilized Error

Fossilized errors are mistakes you are making. It's most often describing grammar mistakes, but it can be vocab mistakes and pronunciation mistakes. And normally, there they're frustrating. I mean, a lot of my students start, everybody has them,. They'll start my programme, and people say, like, i know i'm making that mistake. But they don't necessarily know yet what that process is to change it.
