The University of Dallas offers an exceptional liberal arts education with undergraduate and graduate programs in arts and sciences, business and ministry. There's this expectation that every part of society, every institution will be a microcosm of the wider society. That I think is getting in the way of what we want to achieve or what is a diverse, tolerant and pluralistic society. If you are Catholic and have a pathological hatred of Martin Luther, you're not going to be the best person to be provost of a Lutheran college.
