"I fundamentally believe in building companies differently for the long haul," he says. "There's a mechanism by which you can do it in the early days versus the mid days." He thinks we're focused on too many things and doing too much performative play as leaders. But I also think it's a lack of technology and tooling, so people don't have the right insights or that sort of thing.
