SARS-CoV-19 Virus Spreading to Animals and People

Currently the main way of covid-19 spreading to people is through person-to-person contact. It's possible that just being in closed environments such as a room with infected people another animal such as a rat can become infected and we have seen that in the case of pets for instance cats and dogs that have become infected from their owners simply by being in close association with them just one other time. There's always that chance for these aerosol transmitted viruses and pathogens to spread among individuals within the same species but across species even so it is possible  that just being in confined areas like rooms with infected people could lead to an increase in infection.
