Oil Spills in the Mediterranean
Black strips of oil appeared on the Mediterranean coastline this week. Volunteers are working to clean animals and rocks as they struggle under the tar. These spills are incredibly destructive to the region's biodiversity. The good thing is that due to increased efficiency, we have fewer active wells at sea,. Those wells are being reviewed by regulators more often.
