How to Write in a DAW, Like Reaper?
I use Reaper as my main DAW for writing as well. I find that I never have a track count larger than it'll fit on my screen. And then just zoom in and see the bits of waveform and how they like line up drums or grid, but then everything else I'll just turn the grid off and turn the quantize off. So you get and get to that macro level of seeing how the waveform works. That is a very different way of working to how other people work where they'll just strictly be piano roll and plugins. It's just it's very different.
