The terminates don't tend to reengage in size or grow back. It's very rare using the technique I use for terminates to regrow. The signs of that will be as you've already shared things like sleeping with the mouth open, difficulty eating with the mouth closed, drooling, snoring. They can also have very significant dentition problems which can occur at a variety of ages but usually about the age of 10 when they develop block nose.
