After not being able to be hired at Merrill Lynch, Riot co-founder says he tried to figure out what to do. He ended up working as a commercial lending analyst at US Bank but didn't like the job because it was "incredibly one-dimensional" Eventually joined corporate marketing department for company called Advanced Art Communications and worked with CEO Joe Loja on their business plan. The pair then started building League of Legends in 2006 while living together in West Hollywood.
