Carol Costello: Over the past decade, really 14 years where we've had ultra-accountative monetary policy, anytime the S&P 500 dipped down something like 20%, the Fed was first at the scene with the bandages. At what point do you think the ambulance the Fed put is coming? She says once you see some cracks in the credit markets, that's probably where the Fed starts to get focused on whether they're too tight and maybe pausing or going the other way. costello: We need to mentally adjust away from this by the mentality of a new monetary regime.
