When Mark was first trying to get me to learn how to meditate, I said to him, my brain is too noisy. And he really helped me see that I do meditate a lot. It may not be conventional, but it is a form of meditation. This activity getting you into that flow state is definitely a form of Meditation. When your mind is wandering and you have a single pointed focus to come back to whether it's like a mantra or your breath or something, don't judge the fact that it's going all over the place because it's actually an active meditation.
