West Texas doesn't fool around when it comes to concepts like arid and hot and lonely. This is land that is overtly hostile to the living. And yet here's this air stream, a blinding pixel of brushed metal reflecting sunlight for miles into the distance. Whoever or whatever we've been looking for, they're in there.
