The story of the week is about how this political rhetoric around the world, not just in the UK is leading to situations as we've seen in Mexico. There were 39 people who died, I think another 27 who were injured. They included people from Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, El Salvador, Colombia and Ecuador. And they were being held there. It comes at a time when there are also record crossings of asylum seekers from Mexico to the US. Both Trump and Biden have been putting a lot of pressure on Mexico to keep the numbers down to contain it. Likewise, Canada is pushing back on the US to try and stop migrants crossing from their shared border.
