Transgender Priests - The Church of England
Reverend sarah jones was born a boy and transitioned to become a woman in her thirties. The church of england had only allowed women to become priests in 19 92. Sarah's local superiors couldn't reassure her that someone whose transgender would be accept, so she applied for the priesthood herself. She says it wasn't all plain sailing: "I had two interviews which i would call abusive along the way"
