There's always this perception in both camps that the other side is going to do whatever it takes. We've adopted the senof politics, aprocedure maximamism where you kow every nomination to the supreme court,. Every chance to use the fill a buster, or to use the reconciliation process to get some social legislation passed are now ploited. No sense of restraint or prioritization.
