The Titanic: A History

There was to be no mix-in between third class and any of the other classes. First and second-class passengers each receive a song book, listing all the pieces of music the ship's band knew. When they weren't eating or picking out new frocks and coats, first-class passengers played cards or wrote letters. Thomas Andrews is watching the ship's progress, too, and schmoozing with this crowd. He worried about his mother's health,. his father's health, his wife and child back home.
