Introduction

Anna Hope is the author of Expectation, a novel about three 30-something women. She's also published two historical novels, Wake and the Ballroom. Her first career was as an actress but she took creative writing courses after becoming disillusioned with auditioning for acting roles. The first novel she wrote was close to being published but didn't quite make it. Anna talks about what that was like in this edition of In Writing With Hattie Chrissell.
