Is There a Difference Between Melbourne and Melbourne?

I feel like I grew up more tropical-y, you know, tropical environment. Different culture for sure, like closer to Southeast Asia. There's also huge Aboriginal communities up in Darwin. So a lot of like language that I had growing up was influenced by that. Like people who grew up in Victoria and Melbourne are so focused on how amazing it is here with this like sort of limited perspective,. which I don't have that love for Melbourne.
