The United States as an Empire Oversteps Its Mandatory
The temptation to use shameless force afflicts all empires that are always trying to prove that violence in the empire's hands and its hands alone is a good thing. The people of Israel had those two reactions that there was genuine lamentation. But but Bruggeman's point, you know, overriding blunt point is there is no way to square those motivations with Christianity. They're just isn't.
