The Failure of an Economic System
Can technology either save capitalism or us from overproduction to save us from wasting so much? Or is there simply no money to be made in stopping waste and therefore there's not going to be a technology to be pursued to stop that overproduction? Well, I think there's two different ways of thinking about the technological component. One is just pure efficiency in the production process itself. And that's particularly interesting because that's the part that seems to have broken since the 70s or 80s That rates of productivity growth across the world are low and stagnant.
