IBM made a big push to do superconducting digital computing in the 70s. In the 90s, someone named Likarev and Seminov proposed an entire family of circuits based on Joseph's injunctions. They could go 100 or more times faster than semiconductor logic gates. But I don't think that's the right way to use superconducting electronic circuits.
