The Clinical Overlap Between CPPD and Osteoarthritis
There is a Venn diagram between the three different phenotypes. Probably OA with CPPD is the most common just because OA is so common. A lot of us have treated and seen patients who have the acute pseudotypheinotype. And I think a smaller portion is that chronic inflammatory phenotype. Do you think CPPD is sort of the big umbrella term is underdiagnosed? Definitely. Can I prove that? Not exactly.
