Elton's first solo record was when he just joined Elton, literally six months in to play with him. He said, I'm forming a record label and I'd love you to be one of the artists on it. So fast forward, almost 50 years to COVID. And I'm sitting at home thinking, wow, I'm going to be home for a while. This might be a good time for me to write some music."
