The Psalmist's Claim That the Enemy Is Taunting and B Boasting
The boast itself is a form of attack that could be turned back on their own head in the form of their destruction. So, like the psalmist, will sometimes pray that the words of the enemies will come back on theirown heads. But if you're being falsely accused by some one with no power to do anything to you, then no big loss like that. That does not set in motion the lex taleonis process, whereby some one could be judgedd for an equivalent act.
