How Did You Become an Author?

Janet Kaur: I wanted as a really young girl around the age of five, I wanted to be an author. When we came to Israel and I actually learned how to write, she was writing for immigrants that came from the former Soviet Union - they didn't speak Hebrew. She went on to have to become a lawyer in Israel. And then my family decided to, okay, that's the time we're moving to Canada. So when we moved to Canada, I continued doing legal research, legislative research for government. Then a few years later, I started writing poetry and thenI went into sci-fi.
