The Importance of Listening
The older I get the more of an introvert I become. My wife has taken now to occasionally just forcing me out of the house to meet people. As you might imagine given our interests I don't have a lot to say that's of interest to the general population or to specialize. And so I'll spend my time not talking but just listening. But invariably later my wife will say oh this person you were talked to came back to me and said what a wonderful person you are and what a good time they had talking to you. So really the only time you and I ever talk is when we do this. Doctors maybe should take a lesson because eleven seconds is not long enough to let
