Is It Possible to Retrain a Machine Learning Model?

It may be very easy, in some cases to simply retrain a model. The general assumption in these kinds of problems is you might want to avoid retruining as much as possible. I know that its very difficult because there's a lot of aspects to consider. So i can't speak very well to all the things that have been done before. It's just one thing.
