The Importance of Being a Person
It's the first moment of seeing you as weak. I'm kind of repelled by it. My mind sets to work, building a new frame to look at you through and using my thoughts to twist the feeling in my body back into affection. The way that I always did, drifting off to sleep in this house. This time, regarding the minor infraction of you flushing my weed down the toilet, I tell myself not to think of you as my dad but as a person.
