The Protective Factors of Positive Behavior
We are wired to live as long as possible and procreate, basically. And in the 21st century, those of us that are lucky, we are more likely to survive every day. So then we're looking for other things to kind of give our life meaning and pleasure and joy. The single biggest thing within any family that is protective is that feeling of secure, constant, predictable love. If you have a sense of safety and you feel calm, you then have your more thinking to recruit how to respond.
