Breathing is a way we can activate our parasympathetic nervous system just through our breath. Just taking two to three minutes of deep belly breathing isn't even per cent but it's getting you kind of into the spot where your brain wants to focus in some sense on what you want so when your mind might go to ruminating about COVID or what's happening with your elderly grandparents all these things that may not be able to control at that time.
