Those Markers of Class Privilege
A third of all professors have parents who are professors, right? They understand the world that they're entering and they understand some of the norms. And so little markers like that of class privilege or perhaps not even class privilege, but it's kind of like a different cultural environment. I think that kind of makes me realize too, how, how uncomfortable it can be for those of us who are first generation to know our way around these circles.
